Tomorrow we need to go back to fargo to have Sons bilirubin checked. It was high enough that they wanted us to stay an extra night, but then it came down some.
Mats parents stayed here to take care of Bevy and Mookie and they'll be here till Monday. What a Godsend! And my parents ran errands for us in Fargo and my mom did the binding on Sons quilt (along with making minky blankets). We are pretty blessed with a wonderful family!
Continued prayers are appreciated. Tpr is set for Tuesday afternoon.
Today Daughter and I went to fargo for the final OB appt (my parents watch Daughter while I go to appts). But as I was pulling into Fargo I got a call that her appt had been cancelled. The SW who called didn't say the reason, but I think the doctor must have been doing a delivery. They weren't going to reschedule because she's delivering Friday.
So we had lunch with my parents and hung out a bit.
A bit of a downer, but I can wait until Friday.
But before going to fargo, we ran some errands closer to home and stopped at the library. Daughter was pretty excited about moon books! We got 5!
We are checking things off our to do lists! I've repacked the hospital bag, with a separate bag for Son (coming home outfit, blankies, boppy pillow, first pics outfit), put together the Rock N Sleep
My awesome aunt, Pam, picked up his quilt for me (my long arm quilter is about 1.5 hours away in her town) and gave it to my mom. I'll pick it up from my mom tomorrow when we're in Fargo for an OB appt. then I'll get it labeled and bound!
Yay! It's super spacey and I love it :)
Mat has been busy with his to-do list and really pumping out the projects. He fixed the vent tube in the crawl space that some critter had torn apart....
Little fix it projects that will just make life easier when Son comes home. And now he's going to work on the tractor.
I need to do some more laundry, write some thank yous, clean, and give Mat a haircut. But it's looking pretty good!
Today Daughter did really well in Sunday School, Church, and Bible Study (only one melt down at the end of Bible Study, which is really good for her) so we decided to go get our Sundaes on Sunday's at DQ
And she did really well there, too! She stayed in the booth and ate! So unlike her, but really great!
We had an amazing Christmas! Daughter was so into it! She bursts out in "Away in a Manger" at least 10 times a day. She was in her first Christmas Pageant at church. That didn't go so well... on her part, but it was cute to watch (for Mat and family who actually got to watch, rather than wrestle Daughter into costumes and into place).
She got some fun presents!
Also all of the cats were fixed. It was(is) a much longer and more expensive ordeal than we anticipated the two vet trips turned into 5, and they all needed ear nite treatment and Silly had an urinary tract infection 😞
But now they're all home and only 2 need to go back again 😊
New year was fun!
We're doing a ton to get ready for Son. We've been busy and still have more to do!
