2 years old!

I can't believe it.

Oh my goodness.

She's 2!

It's hard to get a smile on camera because when she's smiling, she's on the move!

She's a mover!  Recently we've stopped allowing her to run around if she fusses loudly in church. Outside the sanctuary, obviously. But since we've started implementing this rule, she sits through church better. Not great yet, but better.

She's free range. She loves to run!

She doesn't sit in a cart well anymore. being free range, she likes to run in stores.

She loves the zoo. And she really enjoyed showing off the exhibits to grandma!

She's going to (hopefully) be a great big sister someday (hopefully soon!)

2 year stats

Daughter is doing great!

  • 24 lb 5 oz (19%)
  • 32.75 inches (30%)
I asked if we should keep her on whole milk a bit longer because she went down so much percentage-wise.  Dr Lucy said it was up to us and that if she likes it we're welcome to stick with it to get her more calories.  Dr Lucy doesn't seem to recall that she was, at one point, in the 100th percentile for weight.

She did pretty well... but as always, she likes to roam.  She's getting *better* about listening, but still not anywhere near being a "good listener".

Not pregnant

Just got the call

I had tested Thursday and Saturday   Both were negative, so I knew.

But it's still hard to hear. There's always the hope that maybe the home tests were wrong. Maybe all this cramping is a good sign.

But no.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares The Lord. Plans to prosper and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.

His plan is perfect. I just need to remember that.

Thanks, everyone, for the prayers. Please keep them coming.

We would appreciate prayers!

Brunch with fellow NEDC mama and Cade's Cove

We got to meet Jennifer and Aaron for lunch!  I was really excited because Jennifer was the first NEDC mama to reach out to me back in 2012 when we were beginning this process. It was so great to finally meet her!

Then Mat and I went out to Cades Cove

We saw a bear!

It was a fun day!  Tomorrow morning we head home :)

PUPO!!!!

Transferred 3 embies this morning. One was an exceptional grade 1 (highest quality) and the other two were grade 2 (1-5 scale). We lost two during the thaw and we grieve for them but are glad they are at peace in Heaven.

So I'm pregnant until proven otherwise! PUPO!!!

Before the transfer with our precious babes.

After the transfer (head down) the really bright white spot in the top pick is the babies snuggling up in my womb :)

Prayers appreciated!

Good to go!

My lining is 1 cm (or 10mm) and my estradiol is good. I don't know the level yet, because I forgot to ask Lynda when she called and my local clinic hasn't updated my record yet.

Transferring on Wednesday!  Hoping for another cutie like this :)

23 months!

I can't believe she'll be 2 years old in a month!  It's crazy!

She loves her Bobcat sweatshirt that daddy got her

Loves swimming!

  • Blows kisses, but says "Moosh!" rather than "muah".  It's cute :)
  • loves strawberries and pizza.  She now eats pizza in the slice form
  • enjoys watching daddy mow
  • loves to steer things
  • says complete sentences at random but usually just gibberish
  • says "Oh no!" when she drops something
  • spins in circles and giggles
  • Her new favorite book is the Mercer Myer Numbers book.
  • Still less than enthused about mooing (peek a boo barn or Farm Animals book) but no longer cries.
  • Huge fan of Daniel Tiger and Sofia the First
